Metal chips are valuable in compressed form. At the same time they have significantly less volume than loose chips, meaning they are much simpler to handle. These are two strong reasons why an investment in a briquetting press often pays off very quickly.
The most significant factors here would be good throughput and high quality of the implemented system. Both of these criteria are covered by the systems developed and manufactured by the innovative Ruf Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG. Each machine produced by this manufacturer is characterised by high levels of reliability and simplicity of operation. The machines are produced in numerous performance classes, adapted to the relevant requirements and can be configured for many differing equipment variations.
The mechanical engineering firm will present a RUF 5.5/1600/80 at AMB 2018. This press has a 5.5 kW hydraulic motor and can produce up to five cylindrical briquettes per minute, with a diameter of 80 mm. Thereby a throughput of up to 211 kg/h can be achieved. The RUF 5.5/1600/80 has a maximum pressing pressure of 300 bar, whereby a specific pressing force of up to 1549 kg/cm² can be achieved.
RUF will present its briquetting press RUF 5.5/1600/80 at AMB 2018 in Hall 8 / Stand C58. Its design is compact, measuring 1300x1500x1900 mm, however it can produce up to five cylindrical briquettes per minute.Click here for more informationClick here for related articles online
