SOLIDS & RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund 2026 is experiencing strong demand. Over 75% of the available stand space has already been allocated 10 months before the start of the trade fair duo. Halls 4 and 5 are almost fully booked.
Over 35 new technology companies have registered since March, including Habasit GmbH, Mesosoma GmbH, Peconter GmbH, Salmatec GmbH, Strabag AG and Zippe Industrieanlagen GmbH.
Many long-standing exhibitors such as Gotic GmbH, Lanz-Anliker GmbH, Burgener AG, Atlas Copco Kompressoren GmbH, Neuman + Esser GmbH, KMH-Kamann Metallbau GmbH, Craco GmbH, Münzer Deutschland GmbH, KKS Foodtec GmbH and Firefly AB (SE) have also decided to participate again. By reclaiming Hall 4, the organiser was able to optimise the layout of the halls so that the trade fair duo will take place in Halls 4, 5, 7 and half of Hall 6. The organiser is expecting exhibitor growth compared to the previous year.
New special area for ‘process automation’ and start-up area
One significant innovation is the introduction of the Special Area for Process Automation in Hall 4, where visitors can gain an insight into the latest developments in automation technology. Solutions such as Integrated Services, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), sensors, switches and monitoring and control systems will be presented. These technologies offer companies the opportunity to make their production processes more efficient and powerful.
For the second time in a row, the Start-up Area will also be making an appearance, offering young companies the opportunity to present their innovative products from the bulk solids and recycling industry. In addition to the exhibition, the start-ups will also have the chance to present their solutions to a wide audience of trade visitors as part of a presentation on the InnovationCenter stage in Hall 4. There are currently still four free spaces available in the Start-up Area for interested companies. Companies that have already registered include TEL GmbH, Reuter Fertigungstechnik and Lynatox / Smart 5 Services.
BULK MASTERS Hackathon: second round
The BULK MASTERS hackathon is entering its second round – after last year’s successful premiere, it is once again offering technology providers and users the opportunity to register as challenge donors and submit their specific challenges from the process industry. These challenges will be worked on by students on site within 48 hours. The hackathon is a valuable opportunity to obtain innovative solutions to industry-specific problems and at the same time get in touch with talented young professionals
