With over 40 years of experience, REGULATOR-CETRISA has established itself as a benchmark in the Iberian Peninsula and South America, offering high-performance systems for the recovery of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Its technological expertise now becomes part of PICVISA’s portfolio, expanding its offering in optical sorting and automation systems based on vision and artificial intelligence.
The acquisition aligns with the growth strategy of Calaf Grup’s industrial division and further strengthens PICVISA’s collaboration with Eldan Recycling in the development of advanced metal sorting solutions. With this addition, the group broadens its range of technologies aimed at the recycling sector, particularly in mixed metals, WEEE, and cable applications.
Both companies will maintain their operations and brands independently, leveraging commercial and technological synergies, especially in international markets.
“With the integration of REGULATOR-CETRISA, we expand our capabilities and reinforce our value proposition by offering comprehensive sorting solutions that combine optical, magnetic, and inductive technologies,” said Luis Seguí, CEO of PICVISA. “This step consolidates our leadership in intelligent sorting and strengthens our international presence in the metal recycling segment.”
“Becoming part of PICVISA and Calaf Grup’s ecosystem represents a great opportunity to continue innovating in metal separation while maintaining our technological identity and expanding our global reach,” added Antonio Viaplana of REGULATOR-CETRISA. “We share a common vision based on efficiency, sustainability, and technological excellence in recycling.”
PICVISA enters this new stage with enthusiasm, working closely with the REGULATOR-CETRISA team to continue developing sustainable and technologically advanced solutions for the global recycling industry.
