PlantWorx 2027 runs from 22 to 24 June 2027 at the NEC Birmingham, in halls 17 to 20 and the outdoor area. Owned by the Construction Equipment Association, PlantWorx is the UK’s live construction equipment exhibition, and 2027 marks its move from the Newark Showground to the NEC.
The show keeps its working-machine format: excavators, loaders, dumpers and attachments are demonstrated rather than parked. For the recycling sector that means crushers and screens, shredders, screening buckets, sorting grabs and demolition attachments shown handling material on site, alongside the site equipment and telematics used to run a modern demolition or recycling yard.
The programme covers alternative fuels and electrification of plant, operator training and the skills shortage, safety and emissions regulation, and the growing role of recycled aggregate in UK construction. Visitors are contractors, plant hire firms, demolition and recycling operators and dealers from across the UK and Ireland.
