With the fight against climate change at the top of the agenda in more and more countries, waste management is a key pillar to successfully make progress in it. Every year, approximately 300 million tons of plastic are produced, and it is estimated that, in five years, by 2025, there could be almost all that amount spilled into the oceans (250 million tons).
