All process steps of the system solutions from Herbold Meckesheim can be configured and dimensioned according to the quality requirements of the customers in view of obtaining insights about the expected yield and the process costs. For this purpose, a complete washing line for both cold and hot washing as well as all size reduction solutions from shredders to granulators and pulverizers are available on 800 m², in addition to plastcompactors for agglomeration.
The Herbold Technical Center in Germany is part of a worldwide network of test centers under the umbrella of Coperion, to whose Recycling Business Unit the Meckesheim-based company belongs. Its recycling applications are ideally complemented, for example, by the Coperion Recycling Innovation Center in Niederbiegen, Germany, which covers all process steps of plastics recycling for material handling, feeding, extrusion and compounding.
