RecyclingAKTIV & TiefbauLIVE (RATL) 2027 takes place from 3 to 5 June 2027 at the Karlsruhe trade fair grounds in Rheinstetten, Germany. Held every two years, RATL is a demonstration trade fair: instead of static stands, machines are shown working on demonstration sites laid out across the outdoor grounds.
RecyclingAKTIV covers waste removal, demolition and recycling — mobile crushers and screens, shredders and grinders, sorting and separation, material handlers, grabs and demolition attachments, and the collection and transport equipment behind them. TiefbauLIVE runs alongside it for civil engineering, road construction and earthmoving, which is where much of the recycled aggregate ends up.
Around fifty live demonstrations run over the three days, supported by themed areas and expert talks on machine safety, emissions and electrified drivetrains, and on the practical handling of mixed construction and demolition waste. Visitors are mainly contractors, demolition and recycling firms and municipal operators from the German-speaking market.
