The project represents a further milestone in a partnership spanning more than 30 years, reinforcing the long-standing relationship between the two companies and their shared commitment to advancing high-performance plastics recycling technologies.
The new line will be designed to process LDPE/LLDPE stretch film and post-industrial plastic waste. The system will be engineered to ensure efficient material processing and consistent washing performance across different feedstock characteristics.
A key feature of the project is the inclusion of a complete wastewater treatment (WWT) system, integrated into the washing line from the initial design stage. Rather than treating water management as a separate process, this approach allows washing operations and wastewater treatment to be developed as part of a coordinated recycling solution. By incorporating dedicated wastewater treatment technology, the new installation is designed to support water recovery and reuse, reduce freshwater requirements and optimize overall plant performance, contributing to more efficient and environmentally responsible recycling operations.
Beyond its technical specifications, the project represents another milestone in the over 30-year partnership between SOREMA and Aliplast. Throughout this collaboration, SOREMA has supplied two PET bottle washing lines, each with a processing capacity of 3,000 kg/h, installed at Aliplast’s facilities in Borgolavezzaro (Novara) and Istrana (Treviso).
Building on this established relationship, the new investment expands the collaboration into LDPE/LLDPE film recycling, further demonstrating Aliplast’s continued confidence in SOREMA’s technological expertise.
Installation of the new washing line is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027.
With this new project, SOREMA continues to strengthen its position as a trusted technology partner for major industrial recycling operators, building on long-term relationships, proven engineering expertise and a commitment to continuous technological innovation.
