The project is part of Indorama Ventures’ investment, developed in collaboration with Nigerian Breweries Plc and Genesis Energy, with the aim of advancing bottle-to-bottle recycling and supporting the country’s transition towards a circular economy. The agreement with SOREMA, reached through direct discussions between the senior management teams of both companies, underscores the strategic importance of this investment and their shared commitment to technological excellence.
For SOREMA, this order represents another significant milestone, marking the beginning of its collaboration with one of the world’s leading players in the PET industry. Indorama Ventures’ decision to select SOREMA is a significant recognition of the company’s technological expertise built on more than six decades of experience in plastics recycling.
“One of SOREMA’s key strengths lies in our proven expertise in engineering high-performance PET recycling plants, with a strong focus on food compliance,” said Antonio Morona, Sales Director at SOREMA. “Our solutions are designed to support the production of high-quality recycled materials while addressing the stringent requirements of international FDA and EFSA regulatory frameworks.”
The agreement further strengthens SOREMA’s commitment to the African continent, a market where investments in plastics recycling infrastructure continue to grow as demand for high-quality recycled materials increases.
Through projects such as this, SOREMA continues to support the development of efficient, reliable recycling solutions, contributing to the advancement of circular plastics worldwide.
