The conveyor and bailing system is the eleventh installation for Veolia in the past few years. The new system will be used to separate and bale cardboard waste, collected from the Liverpool area.
Fed by a heavy duty chain conveyor, the GB-1111 (FS) – 80HP baler, the system can process up to 20 tonnes of cardboard per hour.
Managing Director at Whitham Mills, Ben Smart said: “To have supplied our 250th baler is real milestone and for that to be combined with our continued work with Veolia really demonstrates a complete understanding of what companies like Veolia need. They expect high quality engineering from a skilled workforce and excellent customer service both during and after installation.”
“Working with Veolia on such a regular basis is fantastic. It is a real demonstration of the excellent service we are giving our customers.”
In a comprehensive end-to-end approach, Whitham Mills has designed, installed and commissioned the system and will provide rolling service cover along with consumables supply and fitting.
