Why visit
The organizer positions the event as the meeting place for the entire Dutch value chain, “from waste to valuable raw materials.” Visitors come from recycling companies, waste collection and processing, industry, construction, municipalities and facility management [1]. This year’s program is built around five theme squares:
- Recycling technology — processing and separation technology for higher capacity and quality.
- Waste management and logistics — smarter collection and transport for cleaner, better-separated streams.
- Data, monitoring and reporting — dashboards and data for transparency and compliance.
- Legislation, regulations and policy — the practical impact of changing rules on every link in the chain.
- Raw materials and circularity — treating waste streams as raw materials.
Besides the stands, the floor features an Innovation Theatre, a Demo Park and the Waste Café (Afvalcafé) for networking. A knowledge program with speakers from across the sector is being prepared; the organizer will publish it on the event website [1].
Highlights by technology
The following companies are on the official participant list [2]. Where a company has a profile in our manufacturer directory, we link to it.
Separation and sorting
Sorting is the core of the show floor, matching the trend we see across Separation and Sorting Technology. Look for screening and sorting specialist Spaleck, sorting plant builders Bollegraaf Group and Banzo Engineering — together with Spaleck, Banzo was involved in a 200,000-ton MSW plant in Sweden. Amsterdam-based inSystem.io shows optical sorters and recycling robots with AI monitoring; see how it removes batteries from municipal waste. Q-Process represents Bühler and Pellenc ST optical sorters in the Benelux.
Size reduction and metal processing
For Size Reduction, visitors can meet crusher and bag-opener manufacturer Rentec, Bronneberg (scrap presses, shears and cable strippers), Matech (cable processing, shears and hammer mills) and RSS Recycling Shredders & Solutions. For scrap analysis, several exhibitors show handheld XRF and LIBS analyzers, including analyticon instruments and VDM Industrial Solutions; Cela Machinerie shows Stokkermill cable granulators and Bruker XRF analyzers.
Fire detection and safety
Fire prevention is one of the most visible themes this year, with exhibitors such as Aqua+ Sprinklersystemen, BLW Visser (Orglmeister infrared early fire detection), Kooi (thermal cameras for smoldering detection), Sensor Partners, T&B electronic (spark extinguishing) and a combined Hikvision–2Fifty5–Kenbri stand. It reflects a growing focus in our Fire Detection and Safety zone; see also why bag opening considerably reduces the risk of fire.
Conveying, compaction, weighing and dust control
Look out for conveyor components (Muller Beltex, Van Beek screw conveyors, Van der Graaf drum motors), compaction and baling (H&G screw compactors; Techno Trend with Strautmann balers), weighing (Precia-Molen) and dust suppression (MB Dustcontrol).
Mobile equipment
Dealers including Van der Spek-Vianen (Powerscreen and Terex-Fuchs), Van Herwijnen Machinery (Pronar and Sandvik), Van Laecke Group and BSF Aufbereitungstechnik show mobile crushing and screening for construction and demolition waste.
