Italian PET recycler launches new food-grade rPET brand REPETER
With two Starlinger recoSTAR PET bottle-to-bottle recycling lines, Piedmont-based Dentis Recycling Italy S.r.l. expanded its product portfolio and now offers food-grade rPET pellets in addition to hot-washed PET bottle flakes.



In 2021, Italy’s biggest recycler of post-consumer PET bottles initiated a new project to extend its rPET production capacity and purchased two Starlinger recoSTAR PET 330 HC iV+ recycling systems. 

TOMRA and Plastretur Sign Joint Venture to Create Norway’s First Dedicated Sorting Plant to Enable Circularity of Plastic Packaging
The global sustainable technology company TOMRA has signed a majority ownership agreement with Plastretur, the Norwegian producer responsibility organization responsible for recycling plastic packaging.



The companies will pair up to create a plastic packaging sorting plant located in Norway. The 50M EUR (~600MNOK) joint venture will be split 65 percent TOMRA and 35 percent Plastretur.

Metal Separation from Plastic Flake
A UK plastic recycler has installed a Bunting Metal Separation Module to separate ferrous and non-ferrous metal from plastic flake. The Metal Separation Module features Vibratory Feeders, a Drum Magnet, and an Eddy Current Separator.



Bunting is one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of magnetic separators, eddy current separators, metal detectors and electrostatic separators. The Bunting European manufacturing facilities are in Redditch, just outside Birmingham, and Berkhamsted, both in the United Kingdom.
