Shredder Quartet for Aufderhaar Kunststof Recycling in the Netherlands
For the processing of post-consumer waste (PE) and flowerpots (PP), the Veolia Nederland subsidiary Aufderhaar Kunststof Recycling in Vroomshoop uses no less than four large WEIMA shredders for secondary shredding. The resulting regranulate is then reused for the production of packaging material.



As part of Veolia Nederland B.V., Aufderhaar Kunststof Recycling B.V. has taken a firm place in the field of plastics recycling. Fifteen workers are employed in an area of approximately 11,000m2. The company mainly recycles polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP).

Italian PET recycler launches new food-grade rPET brand REPETER
With two Starlinger recoSTAR PET bottle-to-bottle recycling lines, Piedmont-based Dentis Recycling Italy S.r.l. expanded its product portfolio and now offers food-grade rPET pellets in addition to hot-washed PET bottle flakes.



In 2021, Italy’s biggest recycler of post-consumer PET bottles initiated a new project to extend its rPET production capacity and purchased two Starlinger recoSTAR PET 330 HC iV+ recycling systems. 

Metal Separation from Plastic Flake
A UK plastic recycler has installed a Bunting Metal Separation Module to separate ferrous and non-ferrous metal from plastic flake. The Metal Separation Module features Vibratory Feeders, a Drum Magnet, and an Eddy Current Separator.



Bunting is one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of magnetic separators, eddy current separators, metal detectors and electrostatic separators. The Bunting European manufacturing facilities are in Redditch, just outside Birmingham, and Berkhamsted, both in the United Kingdom.
